What is included in a Sotravel winter tour?
Every itinerary is different, but our trips typically include accommodations, featured activities, most local transportation, expert local guides and a Sotravel community leader. Check the individual trip page for its exact inclusions.
Do I need previous winter, skiing or snowboarding experience?
Not for most winter adventures. Our ski and snowboard trips clearly state the recommended ability level, while our destination and Northern Lights tours are designed for travellers who are comfortable with cold-weather conditions.
Are flights and travel insurance included?
Flights and personal travel insurance are not included, giving you the flexibility to extend your trip or choose your preferred routing. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers your planned winter activities.
What kind of people join a Sotravel trip?
Sotravel brings together adventurous, open-minded travellers, typically aged 25–45, who want meaningful experiences and new connections. You can join solo, with a friend or with a partner.
When should I book my flights?
Book flights after your trip is confirmed, which usually happens when the minimum group size is reached. We will notify you and share arrival and departure guidance so you can choose suitable flights.
